  • How long does it last?
The treatment is designed to last up to 3 months sometimes longer depending on how many times you shampoo your hair and depending on the hair texture/porosity etc. Brazilian Keratin Cacau has no regrowth.
  • Can I still curl my hair?
Your hair will still have volume after your keratin smoothing treatment. You will still be able to use a curling iron and/or round brush to create body and volume. If your hair is straight, the treatment will eliminate frizz and your hair a shiny, healthy look.
  • Can I have the treatment if my hair is bleached and will it change my colour?
Absolutely! The beauty of the Brazilian Cacau is you can do it on chemically treated hair remember its a treatment not a chemical and because the formula is purple it tones at the same time so a lot of my clients end up leaving their colours longer because the colour ends up so nice.
  • How long do I need to keep my hair dry before I can shampoo?
There is no down time with the Brazilian Cacau thats the beauty with this treatment you can go swimming tie your hair up straight away.
  • How much does it cost?
Prices start at $250 for short hair, medium $300 and long $350.
  • Do I need to book a trial?
It’s not compulsory to have a trial. I have been doing this for 27 years and am confident I can achieve your desired look you are after but sometimes its nice to build that relationship before the day having peace of mind that you are in good hands.
  • How long does a trial appointment go for?
Hair trials take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Hair is to be shampooed and conditioned the day before.
  • Does my hair have to been clean for the trial appointment?
Hair is to be shampooed and conditioned the day before.
  • What should I bring to my trial?
Having photos of different hair and makeup looks is very helpful to make sure we are on the same page.
  • How do I prepare for my hair and makeup for the trial/wedding day?
The preparation of the hair is very important if you have hair extensions you can use these same steps to prepare those as well. • You will need to shampoo your hair the night before with a non- silicon based shampoo. • Please refrain from using shampoos like Pantene, Tresemme, Palmolive, and Sunsilk as this will make the hair too slippery. • Shampoo your hair twice and then only add conditioner to the ends of the hair. • Blow-dry the hair as smooth as possible (please do NOT use a straightener) • Avoid using any products as this can make the hair heavy and hard to hold into place. • On the day wear a button-up shirt or a silk/satin robe that way you can easily get your formal attire on without disturbing the hairstyle. • For makeup skin needs to be cleansed and moisturised no sunscreen should be applied especially if it’s in your moisturiser if unsure don’t moisturise. • We may use your photographs on our website or social media. Please let us know if you do not wish us to use them.
